Since 1966, the Annual Evergreen Fine Arts Festival has been showcasing fine pieces of artwork from 100 nationally recognized artists in the Foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The picturesque location is set among the trees of Hiwan Homestead’s Heritage Grove, a Jeffco Open Space park, along Meadow Drive in Evergreen, Colorado, just minutes away from Denver.  The local artist community has made a collective effort to put together a beautiful show for art enthusiasts and collectors from across the country to come and enjoy the arts with the cool mountain breeze in the middle of summer.

The Festival

The festival was once ranked in the top 50 fine art festivals in the country by Art Fair Source Book, coming in at number 46, not too far behind the Cherry Creek Fine Arts Festival which is at 25. The event is usually held in August with over a thousand artists, art enthusiasts and collectors being showcased.  It is the original fine arts event in the Evergreen area and is the go-to event for affluent artists and collectors from all over Colorado. Ranked in the top 100 by Art Fair Source Book, close to 10,000 collectors from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs find their way to this free event nestled in the heart of the foothills west of Denver.

The Evergreen Artists Association

The Evergreen Fine Arts Festival was started, and continues to be, sponsored by artists for artists. The Evergreen Artists Association is a non-profit organization that initiates cultural events for the mountain community for the past fifty years. Proceeds from their arts festival go to art related programs and classes and an on-going scholarship program for mountain area youth.

Artists amenities include a catered dinner on Saturday night for the artist and one guest, booth sitters, free water delivered to artists, night time security, free parking, and early set-up on Friday. To be able to reach more artists and art enthusiasts, new advertising are put into action. There will be event exposures by use of TV and radio, posters, banners, and signage to the event to increase the attendance of qualified buyers and enthusiasts. There will also be advertisements in the Southwest Art Magazine with accepted artists imagery. Evergreen is a creative, welcoming community full of Rocky Mountain adventure and natural beauty. Only minutes west of Denver, Evergreen rests in the beautiful foothills of Jefferson County.
