Ghosts in the Gardens – Denver Botanic Gardens

During the last half of October the Denver Botanic Garden provides walking tours on its haunted grounds. For those of you who don’t know the history of the gardens, it was built directly on top the old Denver cemetery, and many of the bodies were not moved during its construction. The Waring House will also be opened up to the public during this tour as well. It is said that the home is so haunted that the original owner moved out and donated it to the Gardens back in the 50’s, and she never moved back in. The house has many creepy stories and used to be used as an event center, but so many strange happening occurred there that they closed it up permanently. Make your way through 15,000 square feet of depravity in this torturous hospital for the mentally insane. You will soon realize that this is no tour, but instead a trap where you must work to uncover clues to help you escape before the chamber fills with gas.  This is just one part of this haunted house.
