Ken Caryl Valley Sub-Area

The Ken Caryl Valley is made-up of 1666 homes which are organized into sub-areas within the community. Each sub-area has its own unique home characteristics from custom homes that back to open-space to 2-story homes with a family friendly neighborhood feel. Homes in Ken Caryl Valley were built between the 1980’s through the 1990’s by several different builders. In the subdivision you will find mostly 2-stories with a few ranch & multi-stories with 2-3 car garages that sit on a tenth to one acre lots. The floorplans of homes in Ken Caryl Valley are diverse ranging from 2,000-5,500 square feet with basements, but only about half are walk-outs. Ken Caryl Valley Sub-Areas

Barrington Ridge

This is one of two luxury areas of the Ken Caryl Valley, the other being Manor Ridge. Barrington Ridge homes are all 2-story with 4200-7300 square feet of living space and most include walk-out basements. The homes sit on a half to one acre lots that provide ample privacy.

Bridle Gate

Bridle gate is the smallest area in Ken Caryl Valley with only 20 two-story homes available.  The homes were built between 1993 & 1994 and include 3300-4200 finished square feet. The homes were built by Village Homes and include an attached 2-car garage.

Deer Creek

This is the most affordable area of Ken Caryl Valley.  It is also a diverse area with home styles mostly being 2-story with a few ranch, tri-level, and multi-level.  Floor plans include 1700-2800 square feet and 2 car garages. Homes were built between 1985-1989 by Village Homes.

Deer Wood Vista

Deer Wood Vista is the third largest sub-area with 177 homes that range from 3000-5900 square feet.  The were built in the 1990's by Falcon Homes.  These homes have spacious quarter to half acre lots and attached 3 car garages.

Eagle's Pointe

Eagle's Pointe was built by Centex Homes in the early 90's.  Lot sizes average a quarter acre with 3 car garages. Floor plans range from 3100-4700 finished square feet and only a few have walk-out basements.

Heirloom

Mostly 2-story with a few ranch and multi-level style homes that include 2000-2800 above ground square feet. Heirloom was built in the early 80's by Village homes.

Legacy

These semi-custom homes were slowly built between 1982-1994.  Home are 2-story with a few ranch that include 2500-4900 square feet of living space and most include a walk-out basement.  The spacious quarter acre lots provide room between neighbors and the 3 car attached garages provide ample storage space.

Manor Ridge

A gated community within Ken Caryl Valley offers custom built million dollar homes with floor plans that sprawl out over 3800-7500 square feet. Each home includes a 2-4 car attached garage and sit on .75 acre lots to 3 acre lots.

Shaffer Hill

Shaffer Hill is the second smallest area within Ken Caryl Valley and only includes 27 multi-level and 2-story homes. Homes for sale in Shaffer Hill have 1900-3000 square feet, about half have a walk-out basement, and all include a 2 car garage. These homes were built in 1991 by Village Homes.

Stratford Farms

A few affordable homes can be found in this area that averages home sizes of 2000-3200 square feet, 2 car garages, and lot sizes of 6000-10000 square feet. The 2 story and multi level homes were built from 1989-1992 by Village Homes and all the homes include a basement.

The Enclave

A mixture of 53 affordable townhomes and single family homes that sit on a tenth of an acre lots which are perfect for less yard maintenance. Homes styles in The Enclave are mostly 2-story with a few ranch and include 1900-3200 finished square feet. The homes were built by Village Builders in the early 80's.

The Heirloom Estates

Located at the intersection of Valley Pkwy & Club Dr, The Heirloom Estates are mostly 2-story homes with a few multi-level that include 2400-3000 sq/ft of living space above ground plus an attached 2-3 car garage. All of these homes built by Village Homes include a basement and sit on 7000-10000 sq/ft lots.

The Retreat

The Retreat is the largest area of Ken Caryl Valley with 252 homes built by Centex Homes & Richmond American Homes from 1984-1994. This diverse selection of homes includes mostly two-story styles with a few multi-level and 2400-4000 square feet of living space. All home have basements, but only some are walk-outs.

Traditions

The second largest area, is the Traditions with 216 homes. House styles are mostly 2-story with a few ranch and multi-level and include 2200-4500 sq/ft. The builder, Richmond American Homes built this area between 1984-1991. Lots range from a sixth to third acre and all homes include a 2-3 car garage.

Wynterbrooke

The 98 homes in Wynterbrooke were built by Village Homes between 1984-1993. They are mostly 2-story with a few ranch and floor plans include 1900-4200 square feet. The lots average a tenth to quarter acre, but all include a basement and 2-car garage.
