Kittredge is a small mountain community of approximately 1000 people located west of Denver in the Colorado Rocky Mountains next to Evergreen just off of County Road 74. A post office called Kittredge has been in operation since 1923 and an early postmaster, C. M. Kittredge, gave the community its name. In addition to the postoffice, the family oriented community also has a few restaurants and convenience stores.
