Our experience with Mike and his team started a few years ago when I was looking off and on for a home. Karen would call me from time to time and we would chat about financials and other things. Over the next few months I honestly felt like I was talking to an old friend. How endearing of an experience that was! This year my wife and I finally got serious about the house buying. Being a Colorado native, it was hard to jump in to this game. Mike was so helpful and honest with us, and also very patient. We were set on an area and they helped us get into a cozy first home! After going under contract, Karen, Eve, and Kella were standing by to answer all my stupid questions! Not much for a review, but more of a huge thank you to Mike, Karen, Kella and Eve!

Mike, Karen and Eve were fantastic to work with. We rode Mike pretty hard and used a LOT of his time looking at homes, and they nailed it. after a couple times out looking, Mike and Karen understood what we were looking for and narrowed things down so we didn't look at something we wouldn't be considering. Mike is a great agent, and his staff supports his efforts flawlessly. Throughout the process, Mike not only was our agent, but became a friend as well. I would recommend Mike for any real estate sale or purchase.

Mike at Gold Compass Real Estate was superb! He patiently worked with me to find the right home to fit my needs. Since I was not able to personally look at the homes( I was buying a summer house and was not able to look since I live in a different state)he helped me tremendously. Mike Lies and his team is world class! Mike really does the research on your home's value and current market trends and gives great advise as to how much your home is worth and potentially worth with some improvements as well as the marketability of your home at that price. Mike even took time with us to set up showings and show us our competition in our neighborhood. Mike is also very professional in how he shows homes and provides information on the comps of similar homes in the area. Mike also went the extra mile during the contractual process in meeting with the appraiser to help insure we get a fair appraisal as well as taking time whilst on vacation to still handle the negotiations with our buyer. Although we have not started the process of looking for and purchasing our next home we will be definitely using Mike to help us with that process as well. Lastly, his support team is awesome they are very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had through the entire process. Mike Lies, Gold Compass Real Estate and his team is a model I wish more realtors would follow being trustworthy, honest, reliable and not just someone who wants a quick sale and commission.
